Welcome to the Inverness Mini Owners Group

Welcome to the Inverness Mini Owners Group (I.M.O.G.), home of the Highland Classic Mini. We are a small group of enthusiasts based in the Inverness area of the Highlands of Scotland who are crazy about Classic Minis! We enjoy driving our cars and meet up now and again for a run.
Check the Meetings & Events section for details of our calendar of upcoming runs, events and get togethers.
Our History
I.M.O.G. was formed in 2012 by a small band of dedicated Mini nuts and has gone from strength to strength ever since. I.M.O.G. has been featured in magazines dedicated to the Classic Mini and has a growing following on our Facebook & Twitter pages, as well as our You Tube channel.

About Us

The Inverness Mini Owners Group is just that, a group of like minded folk. We don't have a committee or any elected members, we just drive our Minis.
The group may be based in Inverness, but we have members from all over the Scottish Highlands from places such as Nairn, Dingwall, Evanton and as far afield as Elgin to the East of Inverness and Wick in the far North.
The Scottish Highlands offer I.M.O.G. a tremendous array of differing landscapes and roads for us to organise our runs on. These are Mini friendly roads with everything from long straights through to twisting and turning back roads.
The people of the Highlands love our Minis. We are invited to attend local shows from Summer Fetes, Classic Car shows (in fact any transport related show) and even to use our Minis as wedding cars.
To meet the Minis of I.M.O.G please click on to the Our Minis section and to see what we get up to click on to the Image Gallery. If you want to contact us about anything Mini related, please use the Contact Us form.
Our Minis

Haggis (Andrew Blake)
Haggis started life as a 1990 studio 2 Mini in Nordic Blue with a 998cc engine. Now, Haggis is red with a black roof and sports a 1380cc engine.

Tatties (Andrew Blake)
Tatties is currently going through a rennovation and transformation. He's a White 1977, S registration 1275 GT but is going to end up as a track car.

Nellie (Ian Street)
Nellie is a 1994 M registration Arizona Blue Rover Mini 35 limited edition. She has a standard 1275cc carburettor fed engine with 12" Minilight alloy wheels.

Clubman Rally Car (Stephen Fraser)
Stephen's Rally Car started life as a standard 1978 1275GT, but has been completely stripped out and has a full rally specification 1380cc engine fitted.

Smurf (Tricia & Nicol Adie)
Smurf is a 1984 Mini Mayfair that has been lightly modified. She's called Smurf for obvious reasons and it suits her cheeky character.

Miah (Steve & Aaron Goodall)
Miah is a 1991 Mini Mayfair 998cc automatic, though she now has a manual gearbox. Miah sports the only checkered roof in I.M.O.G.
